Farmer's Choice: The farmer selects the flowers and color palette for each product based on what's blooming in the fields.

This makes farm operations much smoother and therefore allows more time to ensure we are always offering high-quality flowers to all of our customers. 

Seasonal: Not all flowers bloom at the same time throughout the growing season – some will only bloom in the Spring (tulips, for example), some prefer the heat of Summer (dahlias), some are day-length sensitive and will only bloom during the longest days of the year around June (foxglove), etc.  

Dahlias begin blooming in July and continue to bloom until frost.

Each have their benefits:

Wrapped bouquets are easier to transport to your destination and great for those of you who have vases at home.

Arrangements are designed in a vase and require no additional steps.

We love that so many of you are curious about where our flowers are grown. At this time, our family flower farm is not open to the public, and we do not offer U-pick, farm tours, or open field visits. 

This allows us to keep our home and family space private, focus on growing high-quality flowers, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

You may be surprised to hear that ~95% of our flowers are actually harvested just as they've barely begun to crack open and therefore our flower fields aren't as colorful and photoshoot friendly as many would imagine. 

Harvesting early ensures high-quality blooms (grabbing them before the bugs do) and a much longer vase life. 

We do not offer full-service wedding floral design at this time. 

Limited wedding flower orders may be available based on seasonal flower availability and our production schedule. 

Options may include bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, table arrangements, and other à la carte florals.

No. All flowers and foliage from Six Acres Flower Farm are grown for ornamental use only. They are not intended for human or animal consumption. 

Some flowers we grow are naturally toxic if ingested. Do not eat any flowers or foliage from Six Acres Flower Farm or  use them to garnish food or beverages. 

Please keep flowers and vase water out of reach of children and pets.
